1. Who we are
Master Now is part of the MasterNow educational app brand by Total Cyber Tech Pvt Ltd (“MasterNow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to the Master Now iOS app and related app support pages hosted at masternow.app.

2. Information handled by the app
Local learning, history, goals, and preferences
Master Now does not require an account. To provide the learning experience, the app stores learning data locally on your device, including subjects opened or downloaded, topic read/completion status, reading time, session counts, recent reading history, last and highest scroll position, reading mode, streaks, daily reading/exploration goals, search queries and clicked results, text-to-speech usage, voice preferences, theme and text-size settings, tutorial/onboarding status, and a cached premium-status value.
This local data is used for features like “continue reading,” recently visited topics, progress statistics, streaks, daily goals, app preferences, TTS limits/preferences, and unlocking or limiting free-tier features. It is stored in local app databases and preferences and is not automatically sent to us.
Downloaded subject content
When you add a subject, the app downloads subject content from MasterNow servers and stores it on your device for in-app/offline study. Downloaded subject content may include local subject databases, lesson resources, thumbnails, and related files. The app also stores local download status, subject version, file path, and size information so it can open, update, verify, or remove subject content.
The app connects to MasterNow servers to sync the content catalog and download learning content. These requests may include technical request data such as IP address, request time, app package, platform, channel, API key ID, timestamp, nonce, and request signature. We use this data to authenticate app requests, deliver content, maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot service issues.
Purchases and subscriptions
The app uses Apple App Store billing and RevenueCat to offer, restore, and manage subscriptions and premium access. Purchase-related data may include product and package identifiers, offerings, purchase/restore state, purchase history, subscription status, entitlement status, active subscription product IDs, purchased product IDs, an anonymous RevenueCat app user ID generated by the subscription SDK, customer information, error details, and subscription management URL. We do not receive your full payment card details; payment is handled by Apple.
Advertising, Google UMP consent, and Apple ATT
Free users may see ads through Google Mobile Ads, including banner, interstitial, rewarded, native, and app-open ads. Before requesting ads where required, the app uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request, store, and update your ad consent and privacy choices. On iOS, the app uses Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) to ask whether you allow tracking. If ATT is denied, restricted, or not determined, the app requests non-personalized/contextual ads.
Google and its advertising partners may process data such as device identifiers or advertising identifiers where permitted, approximate location inferred from IP address, ad interactions, diagnostic information, and consent choices to serve ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and comply with law. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your Google UMP choices, ATT permission, and device settings.
Support emails, feedback screenshots, and diagnostics
If you contact support, report an ad, send feedback, or report an issue, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your message, rating, feedback type, email address, and any screenshot included from the in-app feedback flow. Please do not include sensitive personal information in screenshots or messages unless it is necessary for support.
Support and feedback emails may include optional app/device diagnostics to help us troubleshoot, such as app name, package name, app version, build number, device model, iOS name/version, physical-device status, device identifier for vendor, and performance/device summary. Paywall or subscription feedback may also include optional subscription diagnostics, such as masked RevenueCat app user ID, SDK configuration status, offering/package status, purchase/restore state, entitlement and product IDs, retry/error details, and whether a subscription management URL is available.
3. Information we do not intentionally collect
The app does not require account registration and does not intentionally collect your password, precise GPS location, contacts, photo library, camera input, or microphone recordings. Screenshots are only sent if you choose to submit them through the in-app feedback flow. Text-to-speech uses the device’s speech features to read app content aloud; it does not record your voice.
4. How we use information
- Provide learning content, downloaded subject access, offline study, progress tracking, streaks, goals, and app preferences.
- Operate premium features, subscriptions, purchase restoration, and ad-supported feature unlocks.
- Show ads to free users and help Google and advertising partners measure ad performance, honor consent choices, and prevent fraud.
- Maintain app security, authenticate app-server requests, verify downloads, and troubleshoot content delivery problems.
- Respond to support requests, ad reports, feedback, bug reports, and subscription issues.
- Improve app usability, performance, accessibility, and educational features.
5. Third-party services
The app uses third-party services that process data under their own privacy policies:
- Google Privacy Policy, Google Mobile Ads, and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
- RevenueCat Privacy Policy for subscription status and purchase management
- Apple Privacy Policy, App Tracking Transparency (ATT), and App Store payment services
- Your device email app or email provider, if you choose to send support, ad-report, or feedback emails
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services, but we choose these services to support app functionality, ads, consent management, subscriptions, payment processing, and support communication.
6. Ads, UMP, ATT, and your choices
Google Mobile Ads and advertising partners may use data for advertising and measurement. In some cases this may be considered “tracking” under Apple policies, depending on your Google UMP consent choices, Apple ATT permission, device settings, and the type of ad served.
- You can manage Apple tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Where available, you can update Google UMP ad consent choices in the app from Settings > Data & Privacy > Ad Privacy Choices.
- If you do not allow tracking through ATT, the app requests non-personalized/contextual ads from Google Mobile Ads.
- Premium access may remove ads from the app experience where offered.
- You can report an inappropriate or age-inappropriate ad from Settings > Data & Privacy > Report an Ad.
7. Data retention
Local learning data and preferences remain on your device until you clear them in the app where available, reset app data, or uninstall the app. Recent reading history can be cleared from Settings > Data & Privacy > Clear Recent History; this clears recently visited topics but does not clear streaks or other progress. Downloaded subject content remains on your device until you remove the subject where that control is available, clear app storage, or uninstall the app; the app may also clean failed, partial, obsolete, or orphaned download files.
Support emails, feedback, screenshots, app/device diagnostics, and subscription diagnostics are retained for as long as needed to respond, maintain records, troubleshoot, and improve the app. Server logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, diagnostics, and operations.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including signed app-server requests for protected content endpoints. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s privacy
The app is intended for general educational use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Your rights and controls
- Clear recent reading history in the app from Settings > Data & Privacy > Clear Recent History. This clears recently visited topics; streaks and other progress remain intact.
- Remove other local app data by using available in-app controls, deleting downloaded subjects where available, resetting app data/storage, or uninstalling the app.
- Request deletion of support or feedback messages you sent to us by contacting us from the same email address.
- Restore purchases in the app or manage/cancel subscriptions through Apple App Store subscription settings.
- Manage tracking through iOS Settings and manage Google UMP ad choices through the in-app Ad Privacy Choices option where available.
11. International processing
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Data protection laws may differ from your local laws, but we take reasonable steps to protect information as described in this policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time as the app, services, or legal requirements change. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Master Now after an update means you agree to the updated policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app and contact us with any questions.
